OPEN INSTRUCTOR POSITIONS

We are currently rebuilding our Air Cadet program in Squamish!  835 Griffin Squadron is now looking for a CIC Officer & Civilian Instructors / Volunteers.

Being an adult leader in the cadet program offers an incredible opportunity to guide and mentor young people in a structured, dynamic environment.

For those who enjoy leadership roles similar to those in Boy Scouts, the cadet program provides a chance to inspire cadets through hands-on activities, skill development, and team-building exercises. As an adult leader, you'll help instill important values such as discipline, responsibility, and teamwork, while fostering leadership qualities in cadets as they take on increasing responsibilities.

Whether you're leading drills, coordinating events, or providing guidance in outdoor activities, you'll have the chance to make a meaningful impact on the next generation, helping them grow into confident, capable individuals. The experience is both rewarding and fulfilling for those who have a passion for leadership and youth development.

HOW TO APPLY

You must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, at least 18 or older and have completed at least Grade 12.

Please contact our Squadron Sponsorship Committee so we can also assist in the process.  Applicants can also apply directly through Canadian Armed Forces
